In depth

Verdict

QUIET WORD had shown very little in five starts over timber before striking at Tramore when well supported. The fast ground that day was probably the deciding factor and in similar conditions Dessie Hughes' charge can go in again. Vivaldi had been showing a little more promise before scoring at Sligo and now the penny has dropped the former Ballydoyle inmate can continue on the upgrade and make his presence felt. Cillin Hill was evidently fancied when falling at the third at Downpatrick though his previous form had been moderate and Lend A Hand Son may be more of a threat as he has performed much better on faster ground.
