In depth

Verdict

Dancingwithangels hasn't been very consistent but her best efforts have come with plenty of give in the ground and further rain would greatly aid her cause. Falkirk was caught in the final furlong when tackling 1m1f at Gowran then failed to last out over 1m4f at Galway. All of his runs to date have been on soft going and he may be better on quicker ground. With more rain forecast it could be PIRATE COVE who is the best option as Dermot Weld's filly has been unlucky to come up against in-form rivals in her three handicap starts this summer and this represents a drop in class. The remainder look to be playing for places.
