Le Grand Chene has done very well over fences, scoring seven times including at Downpatrick last month, though testing ground could be a problem. Wildcatted gained a shock victory by a wide margin on heavy going at Limerick last month and is young enough to make further progress but Coolnagorna Giggs, a winner over 2m6f at Thurles in January, appears to need further than this. DE BENNO has had his chances but is generally thereabouts and though still a maiden over fences went close when runner-up to the in-form Tipped Up Harry at Navan earlier this month. He's handed the vote though Fergiethelegend is consistent enough and the frustrating Five O'clock Tea has changed stables in an attempt to gain that elusive first victory over fences.
