Cottrell's only success on the Flat was over 6f while Elishpour, though twice a winner on the level in France, looks better suited to soft ground. It was also on ground with plenty of give that RAE'S CREEK landed a Ballinrobe maiden over 1m5f in May but Jessica Harrington's lightly-raced son of New Approach has performed with credit on good going and is taken to make a winning debut over timber. Idlewild was moderate in the extreme on the Flat but produced a real surprise when runner-up to McKinley on his hurdling bow at Sligo and if repeating that kind of form will be a big threat. Beautiful Ben has shown a bit of promise and could prove best of the remainder.
