In depth

Verdict

AMAZON WARRIOR showed her first real sign of ability when runner-up to the well handicapped Cybersnow at Tramore. The remainder were well beaten off and though connections won't be pleased with a 5lbs rise she can gain her first victory. Betabob is still a maiden after 21 career starts and looks high enough in the weights but Clancy Strand looks a threat. Boots Madden's charge is making good progress and there was plenty to like about his second to Diamond Shower in a big field at Cork earlier this month. Wrapitupboys was conceding lumps of weight to Diyla when runner-up at Sligo and should make a bold bid though further rain would do his chances no harm.
