Verdict

Most of these arrive in decent form though only DAWN SHADOW won last time. Dot Love's mare is making her handicap debut and has been racing in much better company including her Listed success at Punchestown last month. She gets the vote as Awayinthewest has yet to win over timber and was 3l behind and is just 3lb better off so looks held. Moonlight Escape looks best of Gordon Elliott's pair with Jack Kennedy on board and though she was a long way behind in that Punchestown contest she didn't get the run of the race and can finish closer. Like An Open Book, who finished sixth, has since won on the Flat at Roscommon so the form of the race looks strong. Cristal Icon won so easily at Cork that she was sent to Aintree for a Grade 1 juvenile hurdle where she was by no means disgraced. Flaviana finished just in front of Lareena in a tough Punchestown handicap but the latter has done better subsequently.
