GOLDEN HOOF is conceding 4lb to Blackwater King but has a 12lb higher official rating. He was outclassed in the Tolworth Hurdle at Sandown last month but had won his first two starts over timber, at Kempton and Sandown, and can get back on track here. Donald McCain's charge was beaten in a handicap at Doncaster last time but his future lies in that sphere and he's proving consistent. Gee Hi is interesting as he won a point-to-point and a bumper two years apart and is unlikely to fail through lack of fitness but may do better when tackling further.
