Verdict

Donald McCain won this last year and has two entries with Smart Act looking better bred for bumpers than It's Oscar. Jigsaw Puzzle is the first foal of a mare who won on the Flat in Germany and is related to Hardy Eustace while both Tannerman and Tory Massini are well connected types who should be noted for the future. SAUDI PEARL is only a three-year-old but gets the allowances and is bred to be a useful performer on the Flat. He's a half-brother to six winners, many of them up to a mile, and should have the pace for this.
