Diamond's Return won on the bridle at Uttoxeter on Wednesday with Conor O'Farrell looking around for non-existent dangers after jumping the last. He should make a bold bid to defy a penalty in this higher grade but Lost Legend got back on track at Worcester last month, though unseated his rider earlier at Newton Abbot in the race won by Sheriff Hutton in which POSSOL finished seventh. Henry Daly's gelding may have needed that, his first start since early June, and is taken to win for the first time since 2009 here as he's well treated on the pick of his form. General Miller was third off today's mark at Sandown in April on his last start over hurdles but, like Southwell fourth Ixora, will be back over fences sooner rather than later.
