In depth

Verdict

There are three last time out winners in the field for this handicap hurdle and everyone of the trio of River Logic, Stratford Stroller and Berwick Law have to be respected off their marks today but it may be worth taking a chance with Alan King's TIFOSO on his reappearance now that the yard is back among the winners. Jim Goldie's Baaher has his first outing over hurdles since August but has been running on the flat more recently and cannot be discounted but he does need to improve on recent form to trouble the judge. River Logic has harshly gone up 9lbs for his win at Market Rasen last month, while Jonjo O'Neill's Stratford Stroller has been raised no fewer than 8lbs for his narrow success at Lingfield last time. Berwick Law has a 7lb penalty to carry for his win at Kelso and would probably prefer further and preference is for the French import Tifoso, who can make a winning return on only his second start for Alan King.
