In depth

Verdict

This looks a weak contest but none of those near the foot of the weights make much appeal with Sedgefield winner Sacco D'Oro pulled up at Towcester next time and running moderately on the all-weather since. SIGNED REQUEST won by 10 lengths on his handicap debut at Chepstow and, though raised 10lb, is fancied to go in again facing largely out-of-form opposition. Lord Navits may improve now upped in trip, however, while Blewit showed a bit more at Carlisle last time. The Nephew is tried in a hood after his fourth at Southwell but Briery Vixen is proving a disappointment.
