In depth

Verdict

Mister Stickler, You Never Said, and Betterthanlikely make the shortlist here, with Mister Stickler taken to maintain his progress and take this. Having fallen at Catterick in December, You Never Said was having his first outing in three months when finishing a decent third at Huntingdon recently. He does not seem to be progressing however, and is opposed. Betterthanlikely lived up to his name when running a blinder at a big price on his debut. That was a fine effort, and normal improvement can see him play a leading role here. Mister Stickler had looked only ordinary until chasing home Hucking Hero recently. That was a good run, and that form looks solid. Hoping he can re-produce that sort of performance, Mister Stickler gets the vote.
