Waldsee has been beaten out of sight in his last two runs under Rules, while Tom Wade has already had plenty of chances in this grade and isn't getting any better. MUSH MIR has won four times on the all-weather up to 2m so will have no problem with today's trip and, now representing a powerful NH yard, can make light of his relative inexperience, though it would be no surprise to Special Vintage do better over hurdles after a couple of bumper runs. The others make no appeal whatsoever.
