Verdict

Ragdollianna faces no easy task on her reappearance giving weight away all round and a better bet looks to be Marcus Tregoning's recent Doncaster winner LADY HESTIA, who can defy a 4lb rise for her admittedly narrow defeat of Twist Again at Town Moor, and she gets the vote ahead of On Terms. Simon Dow's filly comes into this on the back of wins at Kempton and Goodwood in her last two outings, latterly when getting the better of Gaselee in a two mile contest by just over two lengths and a 3lb rise for that success is perfectly fair so she has to be respected, although she may not appreciate the slight drop back in trip. Jennie Candlish's Rare Ruby made an encouraging return here over an extended two miles last time and is another worthy of a mention, while Where's Susie has run well in her last two starts and won this race last year. However, Lady Hestia was doing all of her best work late on at Doncaster and she can win again.
