    Verdict

The Nazca Lines has travelled a long way for this and hasn't done much wrong. He was always in the firing-line when a close fourth at York last week and the quick ground will help. Mistime has also made the journey from Yorkshire and he ran in that same race on the Knavesmire so connections will be expecting major progress. Awesome Allan has only run on soft ground and has a penalty for his short-head debut success at Windsor. Leontes is likely to do better over further in time so SANS SOUCI BAY is taken to make a successful debut. He's the third foal of a mare who won over this trip as a juvenile and has produced winners with her first two foals. Battaash cost a massive 200,000gns and is by Dark Angel out of a very speedily-bred mare.
