A well contested handicap with Mpenzi, Resonate and Sirce all in with a chance but the nod goes to the last named. Sirce has been a model of consistency this season winning three times and rarely finishing out of the first three. He lost nothing in defeat at Goodwood last time out when finishing second behind Dane Partner and prior to that was seen to good effect when winning at Lingfield. A good run for your money is almost guaranteed. Course and distance winner Mpenzi is another to note as although he has risen in the weights for his wins he still has class and the blinkers have seemed to work the oracle with him. Resonate is worth noting as he now runs off a handy enough mark and has been running well of late in some big field handicaps. His time will come soon. Tritonville Lodge is worth considering each way as the horse has been running into the prize money a lot of late and the trainer Emma Lavelle had a double over jumps at Fontwell the other day so her horses are in good heart. But for the winner we return to Sirce.
