In depth

Verdict

Chatshow deserves to get his head in front having found one to good in each of his last two starts but Tony Carroll's gelding has rather harshly been raised 5lbs since his latest start and a better bet looks to be Brigadore, with Willhewiz rated the pick of the rest. The selection was good value for his win at Pontefract last month but may have found conditions too quick at Hamilton last time and he looks worth another chance on today's more suitable ground. Royal Orissa is on a long losing sequence and looks best watched, while Ceredig remains a maiden after 22 starts. Decider has been in good form on the sand but struggled to show a similar level of form when returned to the turf at Nottingham recently so he is hard to recommend. Harrison's Flyer is capable but has not progressed from a promising return and looks best watched now. There are no such problems for Brigadore though and he is taken to resume winning ways.
