A race where heading to the car park might be the best policy but for those sticking around, SUPPORT FUND is worth a speculative punt with Magroom and Averoo on the shortlist. It has not been a vintage season for Eve Johnson Houghton but this old stager has kept a relatively consistent level of form and as a course and distance winner, warrants with plenty of respect under a fair pilot. Magroom holds few secrets from the handicapper though can be relied upon to run up to a level of form. Averoo is not entirely sure to stay this trip though any chance will be compromised if the word firm does not appear in the going description. Truly Asia has fewer runs than most in the locker and is tried in first time tonguestrap. Full Victory appears to produce his best efforts with significant give underfoot. Shannersburg was almost tailed off last time out and is given a wide berth until showing anything of note. The meeting ends on a whimper and Support Fund is offered as a token offering.
