Verdict

Grams And Ounces has won twice over hurdles since landing last year’s renewal off a 6lb lower mark. He was only a length behind runner-up Fair Comment at Chepstow recently. Fine Resolve has also won over timber and returned to the Flat with a placed effort at Hamilton last week while Lady Hare was well ahead of Senor George when going close over track and trip in July though has been well beaten either side of that. DLTRIPLESEVEN needed only to be pushed out to score by nearly four lengths over 1m6f on the Turf course at Lingfield. Further progress looks likely in first-time headgear and Richard Hughes’ charge gets the nod.
