Verdict

There is little between these at the weights but a couple made the frame here earlier this month. One of those was The Graduate, second to Pack It In over track and trip, but the latter subsequently finished well behind runner-up BIGGER AND BETTER. Richard Hannon’s colt should have the measure of The Graduate on that form and gets the nod. Athlon was not beaten far despite finishing only fourth at Lingfield and steps up in trip while Asafoetida moves in the opposite direction having come up short attempting to make all over 1m4f at Southwell.
