In depth

Verdict

The handicapper may still have the better of Petomic who hasn't won since this point last year whilst Sir Ike has only ever shown a liking for quicker ground. Magroom has won over this sort of trip here before but has shown little form of late to merit support. Full Victory is also a course and distance winner and was third on similar going here last time out so has to be considered. Night Sky looked like an extra furlong would be of benefit last time on the all-weather and there may be room for improvement from Peter Makin's filly. The Winged Assasin is less than straightforward, notably refusing to race last time. Skyflight could be the main threat but is unproven over this sort of trip. Our preference is for BIDABLE who is in great form and is taken to defy a career high mark. She acts on a variety of ground and the trip is ideal.
