Verdict

This is probably the most competitive race on the card but it will be a surprise if last year's winner OCEAN GLANDORE is not involved at the business end again. He's 6lb higher than 12 months ago but did win off a higher mark at Roscommon subsequently and attracted market support when fourth at Ballinrobe on his latest start. Clontarf continues to creep up the weights but remains in good heart, though has little in hand on Sounds Of Thunder on the form book. Manuka has been in action on the Flat so won't fail through lack of fitness. Night Generation appeared to stay this trip at Clonmel and could improve for the fitting of blinkers while Prosperity Square is a reliable sort. Improving maiden Coolfore Jack is another to consider along with recent winners Una's Pleasure and Western Goose.
