Most of these arrive out of form for what is a low-grade handicap. California Rose has won three races in her career, all at tonight's trip and including one on this track. She can go well but Dundalk specialist VICTOR'S BEACH ran respectably on his return to Turf at Gowran last month and the fact that he's 10lb lower than on the all-weather suggests he's well enough handicapped to take this. The veteran Maal has seven victories on the Flat to his credit and 10 runners-up spots, though he hasn't won since landing a claimer here in 2011. Cristy's Call almost certainly needs further and Elusive Gent, though generally thereabouts, has only won once in 35 starts. Curl Cat will be better for his run at Naas last month, his first for over a year.
