A big field of very moderate hurdlers ridden by conditionals doesn't look the best of betting mediums but a chance is taken with DANCING DUKE. He showed a bit of potential over fences last season and returns to hurdling off a massive 30lb lower mark. A good run on the Flat here on Thursday should have put him spot-on. Chelate also reverts to hurdling though only slightly lower than his chase rating but Graney Town is back on the same mark as his only success to date at Ballinrobe a year ago. Gavin Cromwell wouldn't be running a four-year-old in an all-aged handicap unless confident of a good run so Auntie Chloe is one to keep an eye on in the betting. Robyns Approach found 3m1f too far last time and is better judged on a couple of decent runs in the spring.
