Verdict

Richard Guest's King of The Moors has only gone up 3lbs for his win at Thirsk last month and he has every chance of following up but he may want the ground to be faster and preference is for HANDSOME FALCON, who gets the vote with Observatory Star rated the best of the rest. The selection weakened in the latter stages on his reappearance at Pontefract last month but he should come on for that outing and looks worth siding with having been dropped 3lbs by the handicapper since that outing. Ed McMahon's Rainbow Mirage probably needs some help from the handicapper and of more interest may be Alan Swinbank's Mountain Cat, who ran better at Musselburgh last time and he has every chance racing off the same mark today. Tim Easterby's Observatory Star makes his reappearance off a fair mark and cannot be discounted for a stable that has started the season well enough but a better bet looks to be Handsome Falcon, who can give Richard Fahey another winner.
