Verdict

Silvestre De Sousa has a full book of rides today and can begin by taking this aboard MOUSIE. Alan McCabe's filly is no world-beater but has a victory at Yarmouth to her credit and was only caught close home over 6f at Folkestone last time. Pint Size also led for a long way before fading at Musselburgh but that was only a seller, as was his previous run, and he held an entry at Redcar yesterday. Island Bird was last of three on her Newcastle debut and though Flying Pickets was beaten a long way at Ayr it was on soft ground and his earlier run behind Lilbourne Lad at Doncaster was boosted when the winner scored in Ireland on Monday.
