Verdict

Moonstreaker, Bailieborough and Princelywallywogan are shortlisted in this competitive handicap and we will side with the last mentioned. The selection is chasing the hat-trick and a solid case can be made for him. He looks to be on an upward curve so he could still be ahead of the handicapper, he has his favoured ground and his yard are in good form. Moonstreaker won well last time but he has a penalty for that win and his best turf form has been with cut in the ground. Bailieborough showed his best form for a while when chasing home Daniel Thomas at Redcar last time, but it is nearly two years since he last won a race so there is every reason to think that he might not reproduce the form here. Cherri Fosfate has got some solid recent form in sellers, but he will find this tougher, and a safer bet looks to be Princelywallywogan who can continue his hot streak.
