    Verdict

Clenymistra is just 1lb higher than when successful at Thirsk in August and only just failed to get up back there last week. BOLLIN TED loves this track having gained all of his four victories here. He was just over a length behind Bit Of A Quirke at the last meeting and can turn the tables on the winner, who took this a year ago, as he didn't quite get the run of the race in the closing stages. Palindrome is only 2lb higher than his victory at Carlisle though that was a lower-grade handicap while Shearian, though very well handicapped compared to his all-weather mark, is a specialist at Southwell and a strike-rate of 1-43 on Turf hardly inspires confidence. Wolverhampton winner Big Bad Lol has more scope than most of these and could be well in so is one to note.
