Verdict

This is a low-grade contest but affords SIGNORINA ROSEINA (NAP) a chance to add to her victory at Catterick. David O'Meara's filly couldn't peg back all-the-way winner Rodrigo De Torres on ground with some give back on the North Yorkshire track last time but that was only her seventh start and this stiffer track will suit. Poolstock has yet to win in 16 starts but went close over the minimum trip here last time and Silvestre De Sousa rides this track as good as anyone. Can You Reverse has shown some potential in the regulation three maidens and makes his handicap debut in this lowly grade but Baron Spikey's recent run over the track and trip was in a seller.
