    Verdict

Magic Echo has a 6lb penalty to carry for his win at Nottingham on a faster surface last week but the slower ground here should not inconvenience the Michael Dods-trained filly who is taken to follow up at the main expense of Daring Affair and Sunisa. The last mentioned disappointed at Salisbury last time but has to be respected on earlier form over course and distance. Princess Cocoa has yet to prove her effectiveness on ground this soft, while Gull Wing may just be a shade high in the weights at present. Daring Affair has seemingly paid the penalty for her wins on the all-weather and could maybe do with some help from the handicapper so preference is for the in-form Magic Echo.
