Verdict

A tricky opener with the highest rated horses out of sorts but hoping for a return to form dropped in class. That includes BEST OF ORDER, a winner in testing ground at Doncaster in May off a mark of 92. He's preferred over today's trip to the sprinter Doc Hay, who was rated 102 at the start of the year. Conry has been racing in claimers without success this season but course regular Eeny Mac could take advantage if the others fail to run anywhere near their marks. The remainder are hard to fancy on these terms.
