Hard to get excited about any of these but ABZOLUTELY showed promise on debut and can get the better of Scommettitrice and Venus Empress. David O'Meara's filly is drawn to attack in 13 and having shown speed on debut - when ahead of Madam Mayem - can be expected to capitalise. She does need to improve to land even an ordinary maiden but we expect her to with the yard in good form. Scommettitrice needs watching in the preliminaries having misbehaved prior to the start last time, although in fairness she did improve on her six furlong debut. Another well-drawn type with speed, she's nothing special but doesn't need to be to feature. Venus Empress improved on her debut to take a modest fourth at Nottingham so with Richard Mullen riding for the first time needs watching in the market, as do the newcomers amongst whom Tallahasse makes marginally most appeal for Alan Swinbank, who has had some success with newcomers this term. Chester Deelyte and Dotty Darroch don't look up to winning until their sights are lowered even further and although we're far from confident our selection remains Abzolutely.
