A beaten favourite at Wolverhampton early this month, BRIGADOON made amends at Musselburgh last week with a cosy three length victory. A 6lb penalty may not be enough to prevent Philip Kirby's charge following-up if he's in the same mood today. Bright Applause is only 2lb higher than when landing the second leg of a double earlier in the season and should figure along with Strike Force. The latter has tumbled down the weights and steps up in trip here but Wexford winner Time Of My Life has had just the two starts for Patrick Holmes and is not easily dismissed back over 1m4f. Gods Gift makes his handicap debut and is another to note on his return from a lay-off.
