Vinnievanbaileys was second over 6f here in May but has run poorly twice since. He's achieved a handicap rating of 72 but it will be a surprise if at least one of his three rivals doesn't prove better than that. STAR OF THE EAST fell out of the stalls at Ascot 12 days ago and never figured. But he wasn't unduly punished and, though bred for middle-distances, could find enough improvement to land this. Haulani has shown promise in both starts to date so looks the danger with Varun's Bride showing little so far.
