        Verdict

        LADY FLORENCE won this race last year and she should retain her title after showing decent form while Rosedale has won her only start at this track but has a little to prove form this mark and Interakt looks one of the more likely. The pick was 4lbs better off in the handicap when winning this race last term but she has proven herself capable off this sort of weight having gone close under a penalty last time. Her course record is a plus and she should be the one to beat. Interakt goes well at this course and based on her near miss at Newbury in July she can have her say. Mandhooma can only win at this track and it's always dangerous to ignore her here while Rosedale could be turning into a course specialist but looks high in the weights. This opener should go the way of last year's winner, Lady Florence.
