In depth

Verdict

Hughie Morrison is a shrewd placer of his charges and inmates from the East Ilsley yard are running well at present without getting their heads in front but maybe BAHAMIAN BOY can put matters right here on his seasonal reappearance in a modest contest. He concluded his juvenile campaign with success under today's apprentice pilot and the combination should prove good enough to carry on where they left off over the same trip. Multigifted is the main threat on the back of a solid Kempton effort in late March and now drops back in trip to a distance over which she's likely to prove more effective. However, the 9lb she has to concede to the selection taking into account the Bennett claim can prove decisive. Red Chatterbox has yet to run on turf so is hard to assess but Daioni may be open to a little improvement this term.
