    Verdict

Dust Whirl was well backed at Windsor last month but again came up short. He may have just needed that after a short break but has become expensive to follow and the fitting of blinkers today smacks a little of desperation. BORNEAN also failed to justify favouritism last time, at Doncaster, but that looked a much more competitive affair than this and the Godolphin colt was only beaten a length - he can make amends here. The filly Boleyn has gone close on a couple of occasions and should be capable of picking up a small race before the end of the season but she may find one too good again today.
