Verdict

Thoughtsofstardom, Peopleton Brook, and Briery Lane make our shortlist here, with narrow preference for Thoughtsofstardom. A narrow winner at this distance at Folkestone on Monday can be quickly followed up for the Michael Wigham yard. That victory came after finding traffic problems, but determination brought reward. The declared going of good to firm will suit, and even if the expected light showers have arrived, shouldn¿t present a problem. It¿s more than a year since Peopleton Brook was first past the post, and is now off a much lower mark, and some improvement¿s expected following a couple of outings last month. Briery Lane has an early opportunity to redress the balance with Thoughtsofstardom following their clash two days ago and a better race is expected, although we expect that Thoughtsofstardom will again prevail.
