Hart of Gold has run consistently well in his last few starts but he seems to be in the grip of the handicapper at present and looks booked for a place at best in a race taken to go to TODBER, who is preferred to Billy Red. The John Jenkins-trained gelding ran better when chasing home Drifting Gold over course and distance last month and he has solid claims off just a 2lb higher mark today. Michael Wigham's Multahab is held by Billy Red on running that day but may do better now re-united with Jimmy Quinn who has won on him twice before. A market move for Diane's Choice would be of some interest and Gay Kelleway's mare has claims off the same mark as when dead-heating here in August. Brendan Powell's Peopleton Brook has not progressed from a promising reappearance run and looks best watched in a race taken to go to Todber. Marcus Tregoning's filly lost no caste in defeat when a close up fourth behind Racoon in a Nottingham handicap last month and a similar display today off the same mark will make him hard to beat.
