In depth

Verdict

Sensuous, Perfect Treasure and Elusive Warrior are the three to concentrate on in this maiden and the vote is given to Sensuous. The selection lost out by a neck to Proud Killer at Chepstow last time over 6f and she gave the impression that the drop to the minimum trip would suit. She has the plum draw today plus the services of Ryan Moore who has a fantastic strike-rate on this track and we are happy to put her forward as the one to beat. Perfect Treasure is a lightly-raced filly but she was a little disappointing last time and she has yet to race on turf so for those reasons we will oppose her today. Elusive Warrior was tackling this trip for the first time at Folkestone when he finished fourth behind Pititana and in truth he gave the impression that this trip was a little on the sharp side for him. It will be a surprise if any of the others are good enough to get competitive and for the winner we will stick with the Richard Hannon-trained filly Sensuous.
