Verdict

Wordismybond won at Windsor last month but was beaten off a higher mark at Ffos Las next time and has been raised a further 3lb since. Brown Pete is back on a winning mark but will probably find at least one too good again while South Cape may not be the ideal mount for an inexperienced rider. PERFECT PASTIME has been a big disappointment this year but drops into this lowly grade for the first time and would make short work of these if getting back to anything like his best form. Jim Boyle's five-year-old gets a tentative vote.
