Cow Girl, Dancing Jest and Rublini are the trio for the shortlist and we will offer our vote to Cow Girl. The selection has taken a while to come to hand but she handles any going and has at least shown an aptitude for the vagaries of the Brighton track. Dancing Jest is sure to be popular with the punters after obliging in style at Yarmouth. There is little doubt about her ability to handle fast ground but if the rain falls, it could be worth taking her on. Rublini could offer only distant pursuit to Hansomelle on Saturday night at Lingfield but is off a low enough mark to be at least competitive. Inquisitress is a regular around here and has obvious place claims. Bluebelle Dancer searches for a maiden success while Puissant Princess has to bounce back from an abysmal effort at Kempton. Sprint bred, Meeting Of Minds has the services of William Buick and is accordingly watched in the market. A poor race with many holding semblance of chances and Cow Girl looks more open to improvement than most.
