        Verdict

        Extraterrestrial finally put a lengthy losing run to bed last time when narrowly outpointing Toto Skyllachy and there should be nothing between the pair on these terms. However, the former attempts this trip for the first time since 2010 and the latter has yet to oblige over 1m2f. Both should play a prominent role but HYDRANT is taken to overcome the pair. The Guest inmate landed a recent midsummer hat-trick in fine style and was not disgraced when upped significantly in grade eight days ago to contest a Class 3 Ascot handicap. This rates a more straightforward assignment and Becky Smith is taken to steer the course and distance winner back to winning ways. Seattle Drive was out the back in a similar contest on Novellist's King George day but the ex-Edward O'Grady charge is still respected for Brian Ellison with Cathy Gannon on board.
