Verdict

Bardeli was well backed on his debut under Rules at Newcastle just over a year ago and is unlikely to fail through lack of fitness. Cleve Cottage has already been placed here and at Ayr while Shipton won at Towcester in December before struggling against better horses at Newbury the following month. Ex-pointer Simarthur and newcomer Devenish Island could figure, along with Tough Trade, but it might be third-time lucky for BOB'S LADY TARA after solid runs at Newcastle and Kelso. Joe Colliver's claim can only help her cause.
