Bow Badger will have learned plenty from four bumper runs and looks interesting on this hurdling debut but preference is for YOU KNOW YOURSELF. The selection ran well enough when runner-up on his hurdling debut at Uttoxeter recently and can build on that here. This stiffish two miles or so plus cut in the ground will help make full use of his stamina and he can score. The Portonion has clearly not been easy to train but presumably connections must feel that he has ability, having persevered with him, and money for the gelding, who should act with cut, would be interesting. Orlittlebylittle is another to check out in the market after an educational bumper debut in the summer.
