Parc Des Princes has his ground and looks a leading contender in this grade, though he tends to run his best races when receiving weight in better company. Sophie Leech's Nicene Creed finally took advantage of a tumbling mark to score at Chepstow last time. But that victory came on heavy ground over a shorter distance while Polarbrook fell when favourite for a handicap over an extra mile at Sedgefield last month and is proving expensive to follow. KNIGHT VALLIANT is still a force at this level and has been eased a couple of pounds since finishing sixth to Mitchell's Way over course and distance. Barbara Butterworth's 10-year-old should give a good account again but the going may be too fast for Sam Lord.
