Verdict

Billsgrey returns from a lay-off but Teerie Express, who won twice here last spring, has to go on the short-list as he's only been put up 2lb after making a winning return to action over a shorter trip at Newcastle. Top Dressing was beaten a long way when second to Wild Cane Ridge at Newcastle in a race in which Its Teescomponents was pulled up, but Shrewd Investor was only a length and a half behind Work Boy at Wetherby last time and is ridiculously well handicapped on his best form. The vote, however, goes to COPPER'S GOLD who was just caught by Aghill when possibly in need of the run at Musselburgh and should last a bit longer out in front today.
