Top weight Ascendant may be capable of better sporting first-time blinkers while Go Silver Bullet is interesting on his first start over timber for a year. He's well handicapped on his form over fences. Fairynuff was the subject of a gamble when upped in distance at Musselburgh last month but could only finish third and is 2lb higher here. Marlborough Sound has also gone up in the weights since finishing second at Towcester and fellow veteran Texas Holdem is probably more interesting as he's been thereabouts off this mark at Market Rasen and Kelso recently. FARMERS CROSS was arguably an unlucky loser at Market Rasen in January, however, and is fancied to gain compensation today with the promising Tony Kelly again taking the ride.
