Verdict

KEALIGOLANE jumped superbly out in front when beating Vulcanite over course and distance two runs ago and again ran well when second to Bene Lad in a handicap at Ayr. Back in novice company, Barry Murtagh's grey can recapture the winning thread. Yurok needs to get back to the form he showed when winning at Wetherby in December but Grey Gold has to be interesting having only being beaten seven lengths when fourth to Tetlami at Huntingdon on his chasing bow. Spirit Of Adjisa was a Grade 1 winner over hurdles a couple of years ago and should also be noted, though this is his first run over the larger obstacles and he's been off the track since finishing tailed off on the Flat last September. Upsilon Bleu won over fences and hurdles in France but makes his UK debut today for Pauline Robson.
