In depth

Verdict

DIAMOND D'AMOUR has the best form on offer and can defy a penalty for December's victory over C&D reunited with winning partner Jonathon Bewley. He makes more appeal than Crescent Beach, who was well beaten in Grade 2 company last time but had finished runner-up at Bangor before that. Formulation and Mojolika were of a similar ability on the Flat but neither have shown any form over hurdles as yet. Mr Puck never got into it when fifth on his debut in a bumper at Newcastle but he's one to note hurdling for the first time.
